According to UNICEF, more than 60% of Nigeria’s 10 million out-of-school children are girls.
Many factors threaten the girl-access child’s to education, with poverty being the most visible risk factor. The education of girls is a strategic development priority. This is especially true given the overwhelming responsibility of women’s social roles, which affect future generations’ growth and survival. This study looks at the development of girls in terms of the intersection of health and education, as well as the outcomes. Economic deprivation, traditional misconceptions, abuse, and gender inequality are some of the major challenges that African girls face in various contexts.
We have being working to tirelessly to create an enabling environment for education, improving educational quality, increasing demand for education, and providing humanitarian aid for the girl child.
